Microgaming French Roulette
Microgaming brings players French Roulette - an exciting version of roulette played along the same lines as the classic European roulette. While French Roulette is also played on a roulette wheel with 37 slots and only one 0 (compared to the American Roulette wheel with 0 and 00), there are several significant differences between the two versions.
The Difference between European Roulette and French Roulette:
- The number placement on the roulette wheel is different.
- The roulette board differs: numbers on the board are white against a black background, ie. they have no color designation as in European Roulette.
- The ‘La Partage’ rule: If the player has placed inside bets (besides on the 0) on the roulette table and the ball stops on the 0 on the wheel, the player can apply the ‘la partage’ rule which says that they forfeit only 50% of their even money bet.
- Call Bets: These are bets that come with defined odds and precise combinations. A list of these bets, with their payouts and exact names, are displayed when players click the Call Bet button. The chip size already chosen will be used automatically in these types of wagers.
