Microgaming introduces this classic version of roulette – European roulette – upon which the wildly popular American roulette is based.
European Roulette is played as follows:
European and American roulette are the same game except for one major difference – the European roulette wheel has one 0 (against the American wheel’s 0 and 00).
- The 0 is green in color, while the other numbers alternate between red and black on the wheel.
- The roulette table is set out as follows: Three columns are divided into 12 numbers. The 0 can be found at the top of the rows.
- Players choose to place their bets, depending on how they wish to wager – ranging from one specific number on the roulette table to different number combinations.
- A player who places a bet on the numbers on the roulette table has placed what is known as an inside bid. Other types of bids (for example, red or black, odds or even) are placed on the side of the numbered grids. These bets are known as outside bets.
- Wagers are placed with players predicting where the ball will land on the roulette wheel that consists of 37 numbers (one through to 36 and the 0).
- The wheel is spun and the ball is thrown in the opposite direction onto the wheel.
- Finally, the roulette ball falls into one of the colored slots on the wheel.

What is Roulette Royale?
- Roulette Royale is very similar to traditional roulette, except that this game comes with a compulsory $1 side bet.
- The side bet pays out as follows:

- $200 if the same number comes up three times in a row.
- $3000 if the same number comes up four times in a row.
- A progressive jackpot win for a number that comes up five times in a row on the roulette wheel.
