This Free play American Roulette game can be an exciting game of chance, where a bettor is guessing on where a little ivory ball in a wheel spinning in a counter-clockwise direction, and the ball spun in the opposite direction will fall into a slot with there number.
American Roulette has a wheel with alternating red and black colors with 38 numbered slots, a small ivory ball and a table. Bets are placed on the table just before or during the ball being dropped and propelled in the opposite direction of the wheel spin. The numbers on the wheel range from 0, 00 and 1 though 36 and have an alternation placement on the roulette wheel. Each number slot is given a red or black except for the 0 and 00 numbered slots which are green in color. The roulette table has three columns of numbers of which there are 12 numbers for each column or row if you prefer to call it that, and above these rows is where the 0 and 00 are placed for your betting surface.

- Square Bet - Bet on a block of 4 numbers. Chip must be placed on crossing lines centering your numbers.- 8:1
- 5-Number Line Bet - Bet on 5 numbers, 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3. Chip placed on intersecting lines between 0 and 1 - 6:1
- 6-Number Line Bet - Bet on 6 numbers of 2 adjacent rows. Chip is placed on the line above dozen bets between the 2 rows - 5:1
The payouts for different combinations of American Roulette - outside bets are:
- Column Bet - Bet on 1 of the 3 vertical columns. Chip is placed at the bottom of the column - 2:1
- Dozen Bet - Bet on 12 numbers in the high, middle or low grouping. Chip is placed on 1 of the following defined areas on the board: First 12, Second 12, Third 12 - 2:1
- Even Money Bet - Bet on 18 numbers. Chip is placed on 1 of the following squares: Even, Odd, Red, Black, 1-18 or 19-36 - 1:1
A persons betting preference may vary in this game where one game they may wish to use a one number or color bet and the next game they may play the field and bet many numbers in different combinations. The inside numbers in the rows or columns on the roulette table is called an inside bet. There is outside numbers on two sides of the inside numbered grid where side bets can be placed, and this is call the outside bet. The outside betting grid is where even, odd, red or black and combination side betting takes place. All betting is done by each persons prediction of where they think the ball will drop on the roulette wheel.
